Saint Catherine’s College Key Stage 3 Prize Giving

“Go Forward & Be Fearless!”

The Guest Speaker at this year’s Key Stage Three Prize Giving ceremony in St Catherine’s College was past pupil, Emma Gribben, Managing Director of Digital Marketing Consultancy “Digital by Emma”.

In her introductory address to year 10 students, Principal Noeleen Tiffney said:

“It is never too late to begin the journey to what seems impossible. Our Guest Speaker, Emma Gribben, is someone to whom you should look as a perfect example of what can be achieved when you take every opportunity offered to you.”

“Emma has worked as a Digital Marketing Manager in Dubai and has been awarded ‘Young Digital Person of the Year’ at the 2018 DANI Awards because of the work of her own company “Digital by Emma” with international brands and businesses.”

In her Prize Giving address, Emma Gribben told her young audience that life is like a blank canvass and urged them to use every opportunity to make it an amazing picture:

“Be proud of yourself and of your school. There are no limits to your achievements so follow your dreams. Do what makes you happy and do not be afraid to make a few mistakes until you get it right.”

Mrs Tiffney congratulated the Year 10 students on their excellent results and achievements. She also acknowledged the hard work of the teachers and thanked the parents for their support over the three years in Key Stage 3. The vote of thanks was given by Ellie McQuade and Millie Hughes while Finnian Hughes thanked the staff of Sruth na Gaeilge in Irish.
